Christmas 2006

So this was Christmas 2006 at our house and at gran's... I forgot to photograph the laden table... so all you get is left over dessert...

An evening visit from Candra and her Leon, Carly, Jen and Cody... we had a great visit.

Triple Octogenarians





Here are the three Octogenarians...Uncle Abe, aunt Susie and Gran... 82, 80- & almost 83 repectively. This was at the end of the night and they were tired...can you tell?

The bottle of Amerula lasted about 33 minutes... the gang at Auntie Martha's

And can you believe there was your other favourite... Appleton's

And yes all before the party!!! (Gran was napping)

Entertainment included the Friesen brothers... they are cousins on both sides... they also were the guys at grandpa's funeral..

Aunt Susie's group from Warmen...

Uncle Abe's son Don and Don's daughter... Don is the guy who sounds like Don Williams....

Auntie Martha and Erma (Aunt Susie's daughter sung a couple of duets...

Laura and Lisa sounded like Angels... you can really tell that they had voice lessons... their control was incredible... even Tom agreed

This is Laura's young man Alex...

Gran...Uncle Abe...Uncle John...Aunt Susie... and Uncle Corney... Uncle Pete left before the picture was taken... these are the remaining sibs...

Sarah do you remember Bill & Ann Thiessen from T&T Trucking... well they came... he has lost so much weight... the lady with eyes closed is Aunt Susie... Uncle Abe's wife.

Octogenarians Candids

Sooo... the evening wraps up at Dave & Erma's place... this was a wonderful way to wrap up a super day... Mom only had three glasses of Shiraz...one shot of Amerula... yes we told them that we had a bottle of Amerula in the afternoon so Dave thought that we should once again toast Sarah who couldn't be with us to celebrate.... aren't we nice. The picture on the right below has Tom talking with Susan and her beau Jason...
