Swans on the Sturgeon River

Can you believe that there are swans on the mighty Sturgeon River... believe it or not this really is the Sturgeon River in St. Albert. This is at the end of the drive from the Rugby Club out to the Kinsmen hut...and it is under the bridge (Ray Gibbon Drive) that is the west bypass...finally opened. One of the subs told me that he was down at the river as the swans were in...and I looked at him really funny and said, "Swans in the Sturgeon river?" Damned straight. This is the opening of the river at Big Lake.
